Overview
The JBL Control 445C/T, part of the flagship Control 400 Premium Coverage Series, is a two-way coaxial ceiling loudspeaker featuring a 5.25” woofer, conical RBI™, and an integrated enclosure that is ideal for installation in most ceiling plenum spaces.
Featuring JBL’s proprietary conical Radiation Boundary Integrator® (RBI™) technology, the Control 445C/T achieves constant directivity coverage, ensuring that listeners can enjoy an especially smooth sound character that remains extremely consistent, clear, and pleasant across a wide coverage area.
Control 400 Series ceiling speakers boast thoughtfully engineered mounting features to enhance safety, efficiency, and repeatability. Terminal covers allow for convenient top or side cable entry and are secured effortlessly with captive hand-screws. The reliable captive dogear design accommodates a variety of ceiling thicknesses, ensuring versatility for any environment.
All models embrace design elements tailored for modern interiors. The included full-face magnetic grille is paintable for seamless integration into any decor, while available black and square grilles provide added customization. Additionally, the Control 445C/T supports both 70V/100V and low impedance applications.
