ALTEA-408 is a passive system, primarily designed for installation applications, offering the flexibility to choose from a range of external DSP and amplification options within the Integral Series. By opting for the advanced electronic solutions within the Integral Series, users can enjoy the same exceptional features and sound quality as the self-powered version, ensuring a consistent and reliable audio experience across the entire range.

The ALTEA-408 features an 8″ transducer with a 2″ voice coil, delivering accurate bass reproduction and outstanding musicality. High frequencies are expertly managed by a 1″ voice coil compression driver, providing exceptional performance. With a horn coverage of 90º x 90º, this combination of components ensures wide and even sound dispersion, making it ideal for music reproduction.
 
The ALTEA-408-WR-T100 is a versatile variant that combines the weatherproofing features of the ALTEA-408-WR with the transformer capabilities of the ALTEA-408-T. Designed for outdoor and harsh environments, it incorporates enhanced components such as an INOX grille and screws, a triple-layer grille protection system and a protective cover for the speakON cable. In addition, it incorporates a high-quality integrated transformer for seamless integration with 100 V distributed audio systems commonly used in commercial installations. This combination of weather resistance and transformer functionality makes the ALTEA-408-WR-T100 a highly adaptable and reliable option for a variety of installation scenarios, offering uncompromising audio quality in a variety of conditions.
